At BuildKare NDIS we use the following psychological assessment tools as applicable to each individual to detect the individual’s condition which may include ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual disability, Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) and Conduct Disorder. Following the assessment, we will be able to develop an individualised treatment plan and tailor the therapy sessions to suite the specific needs of the individual.


Assessment Tools include:


Cognitive Assessments:

  • WPPSI-IV (pre-school & primary): 4 years to 7 years 7 months;

  • WISC-V (children): 6 years to 16 years 11 months;

  • WAIS-IV (adults): 16 years to 90 years 11 months;


Autism Assessments:

  • Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (2nd ed.) (ADOS-2);

  • Autism Diagnostic Interview – revised (ADI-R);

  • Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS);

  • Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System - Second Edition (ABAS-3) provides an assessment of adaptive skills functioning for individuals from birth to 89 years;

  • The Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales - Third Edition (Vineland-3) is an assessment tool used in assessments for people aged 0 to 90 years on social and independent living skills;


ADHD Assessments:

  • Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults (DIVA-5);

  • Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Children (Young DIVA-5);

  • Vanderbilt Assessment Scales (VAS);

  • Conners’ Adult ADHD Rating Scale – Short;

  • Wender Utah Rating Scale (WURS) – Short.
